Ples 2015
Do tretice (všetko dobré) sa uskutočnil ďalší ples RS za rekordnej účasti (okolo 120 párov), ktorý bol tentoraz aj pre farníkov z Martina-Severu, keďze oni vlastný ples neorganizovali. Ples sa niesol v duch ľudových fašiangových tradícií. Už pri vstupe čakalo „plesajúcich“ zvlášne prekvapenie, keď miesto čísla stola im „uvádzačka“ iba oznámila meno významného martinského domu do ktorého majú ísť a každý si ho hľadal sám (napr. škultétyovský dom, dom, vajanského dom, krčméryovský dom…). Každý stôl bol totiž označený ako dom niektorého významného martinského dejateľa. To malo význam aj samtnom programe. Fašiangový sprievod potom chodil so spevom po jednotlivých domoch (teda stoloch) a v každom dome mu niečo dali (nik nemusel dávať zo svojho, o „výslužky“ sa postarali organizátori). O tento program sa postarali priamo žiaci školy pod vedením p. učiteľky Moniky Barabášovej.
A aby v programe bolo aj niečo modernejšie, hostia si mohli pozrieť svetelnú šou tanečnej dvojice známej už z predošlých plesov. Tohoročného plesu sa bohužiaľ nemohol nezúčastniť p. riaditeľ a museli sme sa zaobísť aj bez našich kňazov, tak aj modlitba a požehnanie boli také „svetskejšie“ a „na ľudovejšiu nôtu“. Ako každý rok nechýbala ani tombola s množstvom cien od dobropravných menších i väčších sponzorov, za čo všekým ďakujeme. Zábava potom pokračovala až „do rána bíleho“. Za celú obetavú organizáciu si najväčšie uznanie zaslúži „hlavný motor“ celého plesu podpredsedníčka RS Lenka Jurečeková.
